Hi my name is Courtney Bostic, and this is my minor in writing e-portfolio. I am a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in English , and I am on the women's track and field team. 

 

Here on my e-portfolio you will find three experiments followed by a final project. All three experiments are revolved around a piece of writing that I am very passionate about , which is Kendrick Lamar's album titled: "To Pimp a Butterfly". I love music and when I got the chance to write an essay about music my freshman year I did not hesitate to choose Kendrick Lamar's album.

Years later here I am in the minor in writing doing experiments and projects with the same piece of writing I wrote years ago. I am thankful for the opportunity I had to be in this class and do these experiments with the final project.

In the future I aspire to be a Sports broadcaster working for NBC or ESPN. The minor in writing has helped me yo increase my writing skills , which are vital to anyone in the field of journalism.
